The touch controls on racing games have a very bad reputation and, indeed, very much deserved. But Asphalt 5 is one of the few exceptions, offering reliable controls and a game that is just plain fun. The title developed by Gameloft uses the iPad accelerometer in the best way possible and doesn't matter how close the curve are, you get to give it all.
